The Art Department at Sheffield Girls Senior School is comprised of 3 teaching staff and an Art graduate technician; offering rich and varied expertise with staff specialisms covering Drawing and Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture, Graphic and Illustrative Design and Digital Photography.

GCSE Art allows students to delve into their own artistic direction with more independence, researching artists they’re interested in and selecting mediums with which they enjoy working. It gives space for creative expression and independent working while teachers are on hand to challenge, inspire and further skills in different areas.

Fine Art at Sheffield Girls' Sixth Form is a vibrant and engaging A-level. Whatever area of art you’re most interested in pursuing, our teachers will encourage, challenge and inspire you to grow within your favourite mediums and explore different topics with your practice.
